FIRE CERTIFICATION

Fire Safety Certificate

In NSW, all buildings that are required to complete a fire safety scheduled must have a Fire safety certificate in place. The certificate confirms that the building is safe for operation and is compiled by the Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW). Further, certificates must be displayed at the premises.

At Safety 1st fire services, we are able to assist you with preparing your building for interim or final certificates. During the certification process, some of the functions we provide include; testing equipment or procedures in place and assessing evacuation plans and other related items that may be outlined on your fire safety schedule.

Site audits include:-

  • all active and passive fire safety measures and paths of travel
  • Witnessing and verifying commissioning test

Need an Annual Fire Safety Statement?

We audit and provide compliance on:

  • Activeand passive fire safety measures, paths of travel and onsite contractor maintenance log books.
  • Witnessing of systems interface testing
  • Reconciling compliance statements and supporting test results from fire safety maintenance contractors against the building’s Fire Safety Schedule,
  • Ensuring prior rectification of identified non-compliances, and
  • Preparation and lodgement of annual certification on behalf of the building owner.
