BUILDING COMPLIANCE

Building Compliance According To NSW Fire Standards.

The Safety 1st Fire Services are with you every step of the way when it comes to getting your building complied according to NSW Fire standards. We provide BCA audit’s and works relating to Fire orders.

The BCA is an Audit that provides the minimum requirements for safety in new developments. At Safety 1st Fire Services we can help you achieve BCA certification in order to process the approval of your building. The certification in essence validates that the building complies with minimum safety requirements and thus able to speed up the process of approval.

Our process is simple, effective and recommended for all types of businesses and premises in Sydney.

1

Assessment

The Safety 1st Fire Services process involves an assessment of the existing structure. This is generally an inspection of the premises where we will conduct an onsite visit and assess structures, and other items such as clear ways, entry and exit doors and a variety of other safety measures.
2

Report

The site visit is then followed by a formulated report outlining the items we learnt in the previous phase. Our report will document the components discovered during the onsite visit that have been identified as potential risks or simply any items that are observed which can be optimised for a better operating procedure. We may also uncover items such as building defects or simply improvements in application of technologies to further safety standards and ensure code compliance.
3

Planning

We then create a comprehensive action plan to undertake various actions in order to pass the compliance testing stage. This action plan will ensure your premises is ready for business and operational according to the NSW Fire standards.
4

Action

Once the plan of action is approved and ready, works are then scheduled. We will arrange dates and times according to our estimations, providing you flexibility as needed. Once all works are completed and the building compliance certificate is granted, submitted and approved, occupation is able to commence.
